West Main St This church building was erected in 1838 as the first Meeting House for Methodists in Liberty (former name of Bedford), Virginia. Starting in 1886, the church served a black congregation as St. Phillips Episcopal Church. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, the structure was renovated by the Bedford Historical Society, the current owner. Directions: General Location Specific Location |
