Stroll through one of the largest and architecturally interesting historic districts in southern Virginia, complete with well preserved tobacco warehouses, including the award winning Prizery,
Begin the tour at the Tucker Watkins Bridge, where South Boston itself began in 1854 as a railroad depot. In addition to its historical importance, the district is significant for its late Victorian commercial and residential architecture and a variety of late 19th and 20th century homes.
