Housed in an 1825 two story log cabin, Emerson Creek Pottery creates pottery from clay made onsite, with each piece being hand made and fired in a gas kiln. Each piece is hand painted, using traditional colonial patterns. Emerson Creek Pottery is sold by Monticello, Mount Vernon and the Smithsonian Institution.

Directions:
From Bedford and US-460 Business (E main st) go southeast and turn right onto South St, SR-43 and go 8.5 miles. SR-43 becomes Virginia Byway as you travel. Turn left on Peck’s Rd and continue to 2nd road on left, Pottery Rd.
