Walk alongside rushing water, under lush shade trees as you enjoy the three and one half mile Riverwalk Trail that connects the Crossing of the Dan with Anglers Park. Utilizing a converted 1856 iron railroad bridge, the trail has magnificent view of the Dan River and many opportunities for wildlife watching. Trail walkers are often flanked by ducks, geese, frogs and other wildlife.

The trail can be accessed at The Crossing at the Dan, 677 Craghead St, Dan Daniel Memorial Park, and Anglers Park.
