The White Oak Mountain Wildlife Management Area is moderately rolling with elevations ranging from 550 to 900 feet. The area’s 2,712 acres are about two-thirds forested. The area allows a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking trails, fishing, hunting, and an interior road and trail system that lets visitors view wildlife up close and personal.

Directions:
Access from Chatham is via Route 832 east to Route 649 south, or from U.S. Route 29 south of Chatham via Route 640 north.
